MMO Programs...
 MMO PROGRAMS is a nonsectarian, non-profit program of the First Congregational Church of Montclair, where they are located. MMO began twenty years ago as an outreach program to the community. A Committee comprised of both parents and representative Church members is responsible for setting the major policies of all MMO PROGRAMS, thus assuring compliance with local and state standards. MMO PROGRAMS is fully licensed by the State of New Jersey.
MY MORNING OUT
MY MORNING OUT is a program for children ages 18 months to 30 months. Parents may choose one or two mornings a week for their child to participate. Beyond offering primary care, age appropriate activities are an important part of each day. While offering the caregiver a few hours of free time, each child has an opportunity to interact with other children while being cared for by loving adults in a safe, happy environment.
The program is open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 12 noon and choice of days is dependent upon availability. Each morning has a maximum enrollment of 20 children supervised by a group teacher and 4 or 5 assistant teachers. The experienced staff of teachers and assistants is carefully selected for their warmth and love of children.
NURSERY YEARS
 NURSERY YEARS is a preschool program for children from 2 1/2 to 4 years taught by an experienced staff. We offer morning and afternoon half-day sessions, as well as a full-day and combination full & half day PRE-KINDERGARTEN. A half-hour supervised lunch program is available for half-day students. In addition, MMO offers before school care from 8:30 to 9:00 AM and after school care from 2:30 until 5 PM.
The program's focus on the social and emotional development of preschoolers with special emphasis on the individual needs and interests of the class. The school day consists of a multitude of learning experiences. Through individual and group activities, the children are encouraged to think, reason, question, experience and create as they actively participate in the learning process. A typical day includes large and small motor activities, art, music, dramatic play, storytime, block-building, computers, manipulatives as well as indoor and outdoor playtime. Each class has an enrollment of 20 students and is staffed by a group teacher and 3 assistant teachers.
SUMMER DAYS
SUMMER DAYS is a program for children from 3 to 6 years of age. It is held from 9AM to 1PM, Monday through Friday for 5 weeks in late June and July. The daily activities include art, music, science, computers, indoor and outdoor play, waterplay, as well as games and stories. The program is supervised by the Director and Administrator of MMO Programs, working with an experienced staff of teachers and assistants.

Applications for:
MY MORNING OUT, NURSERY YEARS and PRE-K are available from the MMO Office, beginning in January. Completed applications must be returned with a non-refundable fee of $45.00. Enrollment agreements are issued based on space availability with members of First Congregational Church and returning MMO participants and their siblings being given priority. These enrollment agreements must be returned with a non-refundable payment.
Registration materials for SUMMER DAYS are available beginning in mid-March. A non-refundable deposit is required upon registration.
